Terms Of Use
For all users and visitors of The Full Perspective News website, please read here our full Terms of Use agreement. What We Do
The Full Perspective News was founded to assist the public in making sense of all the competing information, news sources are delivering today. We believe the best, most practical way to judge the truth from this competing information, is to see the full perspective on a single event, through multiple sources. It was also created to give users the ability to rate stories for bias and truthfulness. This platform seeks to put power in the hands of its users. With this platform, you are able to:- Get the news from multiple perspectives
- Judge for yourself what the truth is based on information from different perspectives
- Rate stories for bias and accuracy
- Observe patterns of biased journalism
- Customize your news feed with your choice of news sources and align them based on your understanding of their biases
How to use
The Full Perspective News offers you the ability to follow the news from your favorite sources, and
see popular stories from different viewpoints.
If the story is popular enough, you will see The Full Perspective logo with down arrows, in which pressing it
gives a comparison of the same story through multiple news sources.
These news sources are ordered left to right according to their bias. To get to a specific news
source you may swipe left or right, click on the left or right arrow, or click on the icon of the news
source, below the ratings. Each news source may have multiple stories related to the headline
story. The link for the story displayed will be the most recent story. If there are multiple stories from
a source you may click on the “More Stories” link at the bottom of that source to view all the related
stories.
We currently have 15 sources to choose from. An unregistered account can view the latest news of up to 3 sources. A user who is signed in will be able to choose more than 3 sources for their feed. For news comparisons, they will be able to customize which sources they want to see and place them where they believe the sources lie on the bias spectrum.
The Full Perspective News also serves the function of rating stories based on their bias and accuracy to allow users to express their views. Users who are signed in can rate and see ratings for each story that has a comparison story. Users who are not signed in are unable to rate stories but are still able to see the ratings.
There is a clickable “Share” button on each “Category Story” that will allow you to share any category story in a variety of ways such as social media, text, email, etc. You may also use the search bar to find stories that have been posted. The search bar is accessible on a smart phone or tablet when you click on the 3 horizontal line button at the top left of the screen.
